Panchos Mexican Restaurant in Liberty

The food that we ordered here was very very good! And very authentic. We got to speak to the owner Maria and she was very nice and friendly and told us the history of the building. I would definitely recommend this place to eat anytime you're near liberty South Carolina!!

This is a great place to eat the atmosphere is amazing I would highly recommend visiting this place.

Love to go to this place for lunch. The inside of the restaurant looks great. It was an older building they converted into restaurant. The food is on point, staff is very friendly, and prices are fair. Worth stopping by and getting great food and service.

Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Even though I can't have wheat or dairy, the staff always accommodate my requests to "hold the cheese". The food is consistently good. I usually order the vegetable fajitas or one of the shrimp dishes. BE FOREWARNED: if you order the camarones a la diabla the menu does not lie when it says "hottest sauce". Get the shrimp cocktail with avocado instead; it's pretty amazing. My first time here I was taken on a tour of the place by the owner and was amazed at how clean everything is kept...even the storage areas.

If you liked overpriced and underwhelming Mexican food you may not mind eating here. I don't enjoy iceberg lettuce enough to ever darken their doorstep again. An appetizer, an entree, 2 tacos, a diet Coke, and a mixed drink came out in at just under $50. If the food had been fresh and good I wouldn't complain. Steak in my taco was tough and EVERYTHING was covered in iceberg lettuce. Tacos were meat, cheese, iceberg. Some homemade pico, fresh herbs, and a lime wedge, remove all that nasty lettuce, and I could have overlooked the overcooked steak. Never again.

One of our favorite places to eat Mexican. Always friendly service and tasty food! Their salsa is really good!

The location and accessibility were great, so was the decor and atmosphere. The service was on point this evening. I have to say that the food was kinda bland and compared to similar restaurants, the portions were small for the price. If I was hungry, I would stop in for lunch.

Have went to Panchos many times but yesterday I called ahead to give a heads up about a party of 12 coming around 6:45 and got a lecture on the phone about tipping. I was told we would need to leave a good tip because the servers worked hard, etc. I was shocked to say the least. Service was slow and plates were randomly brought out. Some were finished before others even got their plate.

Lets just say this use to be a good place to eat but not anymore. We waited over an hour for our food and there was no one in the place. Food came out wrong, then when we got the bill we were over charged. We asked one of the ladies about it and she proceeded to tell us she was the owner. I said we have been here several times and have never been charged this much. The owner then said well i fired the white people that worked here. I said excuse me, but what does that have to do with anything. The owner tried to be slick and charge everything on 3 plates individually. After that it will be safe to say its not worth going to a place like this.

Owned and operated by Maria and Pancho for years, this attractively decorated brick restaurant in Liberty, SC offers excellent service by its wait staff and proprietors. Restaurants are a tough business to be in but Pancho's reflects the great efforts of its team. The food is consistently good, the restaurant is clean and the servers are friendly. We have tried other Mexican restaurants in the area but this one is by far the best and proves that outstanding management affects all employees and makes for very satisfied customers. (There is one small suggestion and it is to make it less noisy by not starting to clean up until all customers are gone.)

Very accommodating of our large group after we come in from our group practice during the weekend. Sometimes wish they'd offer more chips and salsa but hey more room for the actual food you order right?!

This is the third time I have ordered from here and my meal has been missing ingredients and more lettuce than actual food. Not to mention that the food is very bland and it it hard to understand most of the people who work their. Liberty does a have limited number of restaurants but I would rather travel to Easley, Anderson, Central or Clemson if it means I get qualify food.

We have been eating at the restaurant in Central for many yrs and our meals have always exceeded expectations!!!!!!! Always excellent service and a very nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend it.

Food was good but the service was a joke !!!! Seated and took order. Had to ask a dishwasher for our waitress for refills tea. And the managers only answer was i am sorry. Repeatedly! How is it that with no one else in a reastraunt you can have this poor service for a two top. Drive past and find something else.

Best Mexican food around! This place is priced well for the quality of the good and portion! Will be back soon!

This is the best Mexican food experience in the upstate. The decor is charming. The prices are good, and they make the best Texas Margaritas around.

Y’all I never ever leave reviews but out of all the Mexican restaurants I’ve gone to I’ve never been to one this absolutely delicious. Everything about my meal was perfect. So perfect I could die. I live two hours away but will def make the trip to come here every now and again. THANK YALL

The food was okay. The tamale was my favorite and the fried ice cream was really good.My father had a problem with the waitress because she didn't seem to understand or speak English very well. The prices are reasonable. The combination plates are about 8.00

Although it was very busy the night we dined, the staff was very efficient and got our order and all of the ancillary things we needed very timely. Both myself and my kids loved the food as well. I told the server when I ordered that id be getting a to go order for my wife, and they had it ready when they brought the check. Will definitely return!

Love the food and the mango margaritas are awesome.

From the moment you come to that restaurant the waiters give you a nice feeling. Very hospitable hosts, it is a good place to to go out with your friends or with your date. delicious cooking, creative chef, modest cost and courteous service. Warmly recommended.

So far so good seated fast and drinks and salsa. Asked for hot salsa got maybe exract with the char flavor not a fan. Ohhh look at that yum.

Great food. We were the only one in the restaurant on Sunday morning, and service was very slow. But rated this 4 out of five stars because the food was delicious, and the atmosphere is so cool.

I would have given a lower rating if possible. The drink had no tequila, nor salt, with the Margarita. When I ordered the Medello beer, I had to ask for lime. We were there for lunch on a Saturday. She and I, both, ordered from the lunch menu. When I got the bill, it was almost $60.00. I do believe that I was overcharged for the food and service I received, completely overcharged. It will be a very cold day in August before I ever think about going back there, probably never.

The meals and service were above our expectations. We truly loved the ambience of this spot. Wonderful restaurant to take the family out for dinner.

I realize not everyone likes spicy food, but it is a Mexican restaurant. The last three times I've been there it has been a bad experience. Also, they need to remove all the handwritten signs that are all over the restaurant.

I am giving this place 2 stars because the primary reason I go to Mexican restaurants is for the margaritas. My last trip here I ordered the jumbo margarita and it basically had no alcohol at all. The food is mediocre. Don't waste your money.

This place is awesome. It was the first time we had ever been the and me and my husband loved it we will be going back. The food was excellent ,prices are good and the Hospitality was great. Pancho is very clean .
